The station combines automatic prism recognition up to 1,000 m, search up to 300 m, xTrak tracking, and long-range Bluetooth of 600 m. These functions allow controlling and orienting the equipment remotely. The actual range depends on the line of sight, the environment, the prism, and the configuration used.
The station has selectable angular accuracy of 1" or 2" and distance accuracy of 1 + 1 ppm. The range with reflector is 3,500 m and can reach 5,000 m in Enhanced Mode. Automatic prism recognition works between 1.5 and 1,000 m; the 5,000 m mode must be validated according to configuration.
Yes. The AXIS SP declares a reflectorless range of up to 1,000 m. For distances less than 500 m, the indicated accuracy is 3 + 2 ppm; over 500 m, 5 + 2 ppm. The reported measurement time ranges from 0.4 to 3 s. Performance may vary depending on surface, lighting, and atmospheric conditions.
The automatic search works between 1.5 and 300 m, covers 360° horizontally and the technical brochure indicates 20° vertically. Once located, xTrak can track a moving prism at 20°/s.
